Captain Marlin Registration
I opened my Captain Marlin account on a Tuesday evening, deposited £20 from a Visa debit card and spun my first slot six minutes after landing on the homepage. The lobby holds more than 3,000 slots, live tables and crash games. If you decide to join Captain Marlin, you get a three-part welcome package, weekly reload offers and a loyalty scheme that pays cashback.
Captain Marlin Registration Step by Step
The Captain Marlin registration form has two screens. I completed both on my phone without switching tabs.
- Open the Captain Marlin website on your phone or laptop and tap Sign Up in the top right corner.
- Enter your email address and choose a password of at least 8 characters with one number.
- On the second screen, type your full name as it appears on your passport or driving licence, your date of birth, your home address with postcode and your mobile number.
- Tick the box confirming you are 18 or over and accept the terms and conditions. You cannot continue without it.
- Tick the marketing box if you want reload offers by email. I ticked it, and you can switch it off later in account settings.
- Press Create Account, then open the confirmation email, which arrives within a minute, and click the link inside.
Signing Up with Your Google Account
Google sign-in sits underneath the main form. Pick your account and Captain Marlin fills in your email and name, which saves around 40 seconds. Your address and date of birth are missing from that data, so a short second form follows. You log in with your Google security settings, including two-step verification if you have switched it on.
- Open the Captain Marlin site and tap Sign Up.
- Select Continue with Google and choose your account.
- Complete the second screen with your address, date of birth and mobile number, then tick the 18+ and terms box.
Registering on the Captain Marlin App
Captain Marlin runs as a progressive web app, so you will not find it in the App Store or Google Play. Open the site in Safari on an iPhone or Chrome on Android, open the browser menu and tap Add to Home Screen. The icon appears on your home screen and opens full screen. Registration uses the same two screens as the desktop site.
One annoyance: the home screen version reloads the lobby each time you reopen it, and that takes a few seconds on a weak 4G signal.
Accepting the Terms and Conditions
Ticking the terms box commits both sides. Captain Marlin agrees to hold your data securely and pay valid winnings. You agree to run one account, deposit from payment methods in your own name and leave bonus abuse alone. Captain Marlin closes duplicate accounts and freezes the balance.
Read the clause on stakes before your first deposit. While a bonus is active, your maximum bet is £5 per spin, and a single £8 spin can void the bonus and any winnings from it.
Captain Marlin Register Welcome Bonus
New accounts receive up to £400 plus 150 free spins across the first three deposits. Each deposit needs at least £20, each part expires after 7 days and the bonus carries 35x wagering. A £200 bonus means £7,000 in bets before you can withdraw. Free spins are worth 10p each and land on one featured slot.
- 1st deposit: 100% up to £200 plus 100 free spins. Deposit £200 to claim the full £200.
- 2nd deposit: 50% up to £100 plus 50 free spins. Deposit £200 to claim the full £100.
- 3rd deposit: 100% up to £100. Deposit £100 to claim the full amount.
Seven days is tight on the first tier. Clearing £7,000 of wagering means £1,000 of bets a day, so a casual player will not finish it. I claimed the first tier and skipped the rest.
Verifying Your Account
Captain Marlin requires ID before your first withdrawal. You can start straight after registering. Log in, open your profile, go to the Verification tab and upload photos of three items.
- Identity: your passport or UK photocard driving licence.
- Address: a bank statement, council tax bill or utility bill dated within the last 3 months.
- Payment method: a photo of your debit card with the middle digits covered, or a screenshot of your e-wallet.
I uploaded all three on a Wednesday afternoon. The team rejected my address proof because I had cropped the corners of the bill, and I resubmitted the full page. Approval arrived the next morning.
